Pranav Roach, Director

Pranav Roach is the president of Hughes Network Systems India Limited, a subsidiary of Hughes Networks Systems, the US based global leader in broadband networks and services, bridging the best of satellite and terrestrial technologies. He serves as a director on the boards of all Hughes companies in India. He has been part of all Hughes major initiatives in India for over 13 years. He was a key member of the team that proposed and successfully completed India's first book built IPO in 1999 and later India's first private telecom company IPO.

More recently, he has been leading Hughes new initiative to bring broadband services and applications to rural India through community based computing and connectivity infrastructure to deliver e-governance, internet, interactive education and a variety of e-commerce services.

Pranav is a member of the CII National Telecom & Broadband Committee, 2009. He has been a member of the CII National Telecom & Broadband Committee since 2004. He was a key member of the CII Broadband Economy Committee which formulated the report entitled "India's Broadband Economy: Vision 2010". He also serves as an independent director on the boards of several for profit and non-profit organizations.

Rohit Sharma, Founder

Rohit founded Lyra Infosystems in early 2007. Prior to creating Lyra, Rohit worked in companies like SDRC (India office) ISI (Integrated Systems, Inc., Asia Pac Office based out of India), Wind River Systems, &PixTel Communications. With more than 16yrs of Sales, Marketing, Operations and Management experience, Rohit has been part of a couple of start-ups as a founding member. He contributed in establishing them as successful and stable organizations today. Rohit is based out of the Bangalore, India and manages Sales, Operations and Financials of the company.
